Amami-Oshima is located in the south of Japan and is surrounded by beautiful coral
beaches. It takes about two and a half hours to reach here to Tokyo by airplane.

There are very few long-standing, traditional Oshima Thumugi factories still in oparation.

Established in 1949, our factory remains one such outstanding, traditional establishment
engaged in making textiles for Kimono.
